Moore provides its customers with more cost-effective services which are better suited to the requirements of their market. They are endowed with an integrated solution of document personalisation such as account statements, invoices, mailshots, booklets, contracts, subscription forms and any other marketing document.

Moore Response Marketing is a division of RR Donnelley, the largest printing business in the world, which employs more than 40,000 people and records annual sales figures exceeding 8 thousand million US dollars.

Moore Response Marketing accepted the solutions suggested by Samarcande S.A. (centred on the software range PrintNet™T, by GMC Technology).

Software infrastructures capable of providing a very high level of personalisation (promotion or transactional documents), time saving in operation cycles, real reduction of direct costs in production tasks.

The solution takes into consideration both the design and composition requirements of documents and also the printing management. France is the first pilot of additional installations in Europe and in the USA.

The division Moore Response Marketing has three production factories in Europe:

"Initially, we needed to adapt to the requirements of our clients in the Banking and Insurance sectors who wanted to improve their business communication (statements of circumstances, investment statements) and to provide their customers with very personalised content (tables and individualised graphs).

What works in publishing, insurance or mail order selling for example, can find surprising applications in financial services.

Samarcande intervened in the selection of a graphic composition software in order to generate an AFP flow with Graphics and numerous dynamic tables.

It was a dual challenge, to meet the demand of our clients and to be compatible with our inspectors – proprietary systems developed in the United States which enable us to pilot our own ink jet print heads like the Kodak Versamark (ex Scitex).

A market Survey was conducted (comparing Dialogue, Press, Papyrus, Doc1 and PrintNet). The Service approach and the modern methods employed for implementing the solution interested us immediately.

Subsequently, the Samarcande team was responsible for the integration of the PrintNet T. tool. Many tests and exchanges were carried out to achieve the finalised integration of the PrintNet T Designer tool and our servers in order to generate an AFP flow in accordance with our confidential optimisations.

Samarcande supported us with the training, in a very tight time scale (less than 3 months between implementing the tool and the first real production).

Samarcande had an extremely professional “pre-sale” approach and remained very involved throughout the project.
